Poly- - ein Gesuch im Rat einbrachteund dies als berechtigt anerkannt wurde, wollebeschließen das Volk: da Asklepiodorosein vortrefflicher Mann war im Kampf gegendie Feinde, als er auf der Trieredes Chares aus dem Demos Aixone segelte, dass manihn belobige und bekränze mit einem Oliven-Kranzwegen seiner Tapferkeit und ihn zumFestbankett lade in das Prytaneion für morgen;dass ihm auch Steuergleichheit sei und seinenNachkommen, die in Athen wohnen, wie denanderen mit Steuergleichheit Privilegierten, damit allesehen, die mit den Athenern in den Krieg ziehen,dass das Volk die guten Männer ehrt;diesen Beschluss soll nach Aufzeichnungauf einer steinernen Stele der Sekretär aufstellenauf der Akropolis; für die Aufzeichnungsoll der Schatzmeister des Volkes zwanzig Drachmenaus dem Dekret-Fonds des Volkesgeben. –

Of the presiding committee[Euthy?]krates of [Aphidna?] was putting to the vote.- - - of Potamos proposed: concerning thelawful petition which Asklepiodoros son of Poly- of -is deemed to have made to the Council,the People shall resolve: since Asklepiodoroswas a good man, fighting againstthe enemy, sailing on the trieremeof Chares of Aixone, to praisehim and crown him with a foliage crownfor his manly virtue and invite himto hospitality in the city hall tomorrow;and he and his descendants shall have equality of taxation,while resident at Athens, like theothers who have equality of taxation, so that everyonewho serves on campaign with the Atheniansmay know that the People honours good men;and having inscribed this decreeon a stone stele, let the secretary stand iton the acropolis; and for the inscribinglet the treasurer of the People give twenty drachmasfrom the People’s fund for expenditure ondecrees. –
